Happy Tuesday!

Hey everyone! Today has been yet another wonderful, hot, sunny day in Sevilla. It was my second day of classes today. I love my teacher! She is so patient and explains things so well even though it is in 100% Spanish. We get homework in our workbooks every night, and Allison and I do it together on the dining room table with Rosa, who answers our conjugation questions.
After school today, Allison had a meeting so I spent my time in the "calles," or streets. I walked around, got myself an iced coffee, and wandered around the Cathedral. I didn't get lost, but you can definitely say I took the scenic route. I wanted to get to the area of the streets with all the stores, and after about an hour I made it! And due to my detour, I found THE cutest little boutique ever. I walked in and was greeted by a helpful young Spanish woman who grabbed me clothes, sizes, and made recommendations for me. It was so cool to have full conversations in Spanish! I ended up buying a pink  lace dress, a silky floral dress, and a green beaded tank top, all of which I looooove. I strolled back home for lunch with Rosa and Allison. We had a garbanzo bean stew with a marinated red pepper salad which of course was amazing. I have yet to encounter some food I do not like. Rosa gave me "chorizo" sausages which I thought I wouldn't like, but oh my word they were delicious. Like a soft salami. So good!
After lunch Allison took her siesta and I stayed up (too much coffee again!). I got to talk to Mom on the phone a bit, and then I watched Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (in Spanish) on TV with Rosa. She knows every answer before they even give the options! I told her she should be on the show.
At around 6 Allison and I went to Girls' Night at the school. We had smoothies and then went on paddleboat rides! It was awesome to bond with the girls and get to see Sevilla from the river that I walk over every day.
After my walk home, Rosa had a dinner of roasted pork and french fries waiting for us. Everything she makes is so delicious, salty, and hot! Love it.

On the way to school Allison and I stopped by a "supermercado" for drinks.

Limon Fanta is so delicious!

Guess who chose NOT to paddle the boat ;)

Me, Jaimey, Danny, and Aimee on the paddleboats.
