Hey everyone!
I just got back from Toledo, which is in the province of Castilla, Spain. The whole school spent two days and one night there. It was awesome because we got to stay in a hotel! Hahaha but it was a really fun excursion even though it was a 6 hour bus ride each way. I took almost 70 pictures which are all on facebook, but here are some of the best ones.
We stopped on our way to Toledo in a tiny little pueblo. It was famous for its "molinas" which are windmills. They are the windmills from Don Quijote! It was pretty cool to see the place that is referred to in the book. They were very quaint :)
This is me, really really excited to be off the bus.
The pueblo (village) is visible behind me.
Once we got to Toledo, we visited a church that had a super giant and famous painting by El Greco. Pictures weren't allowed, but it was cool. Then we went to a monastery from the 12th century. The picture above and below are from the monastery.
The next day, after a delicious breakfast in the hotel, we went to the Cathedral of Toledo. It was huuuuuge and we spent literally 3 hours walking through it. This picture was taken from the outside of the city, looking over the river and hills.
Here is me (tired) inside of the Cathedral.
During free time, Carolotta and I went shopping and snapped this little gem of a photo in a store.
Me overlooking Toledo!!
Muy bonitas las fotografias. Saludos desde Conil ( Cadiz). ve mi blog . Jesús
